"Trend Poetry Theater: If There Are Tears in the Eyes" is a lyrical journey inspired by the evocative works of contemporary poet Chen, I-Chih.

Under the visionary direction of Hsu, Yen-Ling, with the musical alchemy of Chen-Chien-Chi and brought to life by a collective of theater artists, this performance is a symphony of light, shadow, and body expression. A dedicated ensemble of performers graces the stage, channeling the essence of poetry into every movement and note.

Following the ethereal beauty of Lo, Chih-Cheng "Light Years" in 2022 and the delicate artistry of Liza Chen "Seagull Poetics" in 2023, this production once again transforms Taiwanese contemporary poetry into a vibrant, living narrative, where words take shape through the interplay of light, body, music, and voice.

Trend Education Foundation

Trend Education Foundation, established in 2000, has been led by Trend Micro co-founder and Chief Culture Officer, Eva Chen. The foundation is dedicated to promoting literature, arts, and information education. Each year, it hosts literary-themed theatrical productions such as 'Trend Classic Literature Theater,' 'Trend Poetry Theater,' and 'Trend Children's Literature Theater.' Since 2020, the foundation has collaborated with the National Taiwan College of Performing Arts, channeling resources into the preservation and promotion of Peking opera. This partnership has resulted in performances like 'Youth Selections at the National Library,' 'The Battle of Changban & Han River,' 'The Legendary Monkey King,' and 'Wu Song.
