The most anticipated Cloud Gate Theater Family Concert is back!
Three musician moms will win the heart of even the world’s pickiest audience.
For children and adults alike, there will be no snoozing, no bawling, no sulking during the 60-minute performance.
This year, the musician moms invite audiences of all ages to open up their ears to The Carnival of the Animals by the French composer Camille Saint-Saëns, and venture high up in the sky and deep into the sea to listen carefully to the hearts of the animals.
The Trio Zilla, formed by three outstanding musicians from Taiwan, LI I-ching (former Concertmaster of the National Symphony Orchestra in Taiwan), LIEN Yi-shien (Associate Principal Cellist of NSO), and WANG Pei-Yao (member of an opera production team at the New York Metropolitan Opera House), intends to entertain friends of all ages with a performance full of creativity and imagination. The three artists are not only reputable professional musicians onstage, but also loving moms offstage. This time, they again work with WANG Yeu-kwn, a rising choreographer, to ingeniously and gracefully integrate both physical and musical elements into the concert so as to indulge the senses of the audience. In addition to the Trio, the performance team also includes professional dancers, young dancers from the Cloud Gate Dance Studio, and professional singer LIAO Yu-meng.
