A Story to be Continued is brought to you by the Encounter Trio, featuring short pieces by Felix Mendelssohn and Hometown in Dusk, an all-time favorite in Taiwan, among others. The story begins with the moment of an encounter between family members, friends, and partners, who meet because of some coincident convergence in time and space. Even though we can never conjecture the future, we should always love and cherish whatever we have at hand as we walk along the way. The program is about you and me, a story to be continued.
About The Golden Lawn Music Party
Since 2019, the Cloud Gate Theater regularly plans the “Golden Lawn Music Parties” with the Art Forum for Confluence. This year, we again invited YANG Yuen-suo, a Taiwanese clarinetist who currently resides in the US, to act as the curator for the concert series, and offer you a beautiful musical afternoon under the golden sunset.
The Encounter Trio is a chamber music ensemble founded by three good musician friends, Liby LI, YANG Yuen-suo, and WANG Yi-hsin, who are both active performers and teachers. The reason they started the ensemble is to bring the beauty and happiness in music to all music lovers, and spread classical music to all those that support art and culture activities.
